Not-for-Profit Status

VIA Collaborative Arts Corporation was established on April 20, 2005 under the not-for-profit corporation law of the State of New York. Our status as a tax-exempt public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code was granted by the IRS on September 30, 2005.

Gifts made since our founding are deductible on federal income tax returns. Our Charities Registration with the Attorney General's office of the State of New York is also has also been approved.

Our Federal EIN is 20-2838552 and our New York State Charities Registration number is 21-21-53.

We are pleased to announce that we are registered with GuideStar, the online standard for nonprofit accountability. GuideStar maintains a national database of not-for-profit organizations. Philanthropists and funding agencies use GuideStar to research charities they are interested in supporting.
